I never realized that many of the news sites I check out on a regular basis are in fact blogs about current events or happenings that change on a daily or hourly basis. One site that has interesting and up to date IT news is ZDNet: http://blogs.zdnet.com/BTL/?p=20399
The article I was checking out has to do with the IT job market and all the downsizing that is going on in our industry; outsourcing, pay cuts, and large companies closing down or going bankrupt. I am hoping that the IT job market will improve in the next few years and perhaps we can all be a part of this expansion by keeping up with all the new Web 2.0 creative interactivity.

Assgn 2 Web 2.0

When I think of Web 2.0 an image of people sharing their creativity, thoughts, ideas and experiences interactively on the World Wide Web pops into my head. The Web 2.0 applications are fairly new and infinite possibilities are constantly evolving as more and more people interact and share information and ideas with countless others on the Internet. The various uses for the future Web 2.0 possibilities are endless and growing exponentially.
I found a site that does a through job of defining Web 2.0, but it did not contain anything controversial. the site is Web 2.0 (Internet) -- Britannica Online Encyclopedia.
